I posted it on the PCGS forum but one of my Morgans is an 1887-s MS 65 but has "Bermuda" written on it. I always just assumed it was a Pedigree of some big collector who got PCGS to give him a special label. I recall finding a registry set that was called "Bermuda" on PCGS for Morgans. I'm just curious the story on this coin. Who owned the set an any special history to it?
Is this it: http://www.pcgs.com/SetRegistry/alltimeset.aspx?s=1835 If so, it looks like it was the highest graded (untoned) Morgan set at one point and featured the highest ever graded Morgan (1880-S MS-69 PL).
Decent looking Morgan https://coins.ha.com/itm/morgan-dollars/1880-s-1-ms69-prooflike-pcgs/a/1160-4105.s
Found others on Heritage but none of listings seem give any details. Maybe the collector wanted to remain anonymous even in death
