I'm trying to get a value of this coin, it scans on pcgs for alot. HE doesnt feel its accurate! This is a buddies coin, not mine! Thank you in advance!
My Krause book is pretty old, so I don't think that my valuation of it would be very significant, but Krause 2010 edition gives $1,100 in uncirculated. MS 61? I would have thought XF, which is valued at $125. https://www.pcgs.com/pricehistory#/?=173440-61
I'm no Chinese coin expert, but I'm pretty sure that (a) that's not MS61, and (b) PCGS does a lot better job than that with the typography on their labels. Here's PCGS's imaging of the actual coin with that cert. If the labels look the same to you, you just might be more used to reading Mandarin...
FAKE slab. Probably FAKE coin. Worthless, unless it's actually made of silver (if you are faking at $1000 coin, you can afford to use $30 of silver), at which point it's worth melt.
