I would not pay more than that. If the coins leave a mark on a piece of white paper then they are not silver.

Check on vcoins for some real ancient coins or talk to John Anthony.

John Anthony is an ancient dealer who is a member here. You will see his posts often. He is known for having very good deals on nice ancient coins.

I don't have any New-Style tets at the moment, but I know dealers that do and I could help you out, but PM me if you'd like. This forum is not for buying and selling. Also, the coin you posted is totally and completely fake. Don't even waste your time going to see it - it's not going to get any more authentic between now and then.

Actually the second coin which i posted is the more interesting one - the tridrachm of delphi. I still have like 0.000000000000000001% hope of hitting the jackpot. You know, beginner's luck and all that stuff .. :)

What do you think of that one?

Otherwise no, i'm not interested in any new style coins.

    Thanks a bunch John

The tridrachm also looks totally fake - the fabric is that of a reproduction, maybe a museum gift shop token. I guarantee you it's made in China!
