I just got a group of coins from London that were ex Dr. Malcolm Lyne Collection. If you are not familiar with him, here is a link to his obituary. https://www.kentarchaeology.org.uk/magazine/121/05-obituary-dr-malcolm-lyne-fsa-1943-2023 This latest group of coins was not described as being from the Appleford Hoard, even though you could see it was from several of the tags with the coins. here is one that is nicely silvered Constantine I A.D. 321- 323 19mm 3.1g CONSTANTINVS AVG; laureate and trabeated bust right, holding eagle-tipped sceptre in right hand. BEAT TRANQLITAS; globe set on altar inscribed VOT/IS/XX; above, three stars. in ex. PLON RIC VII London 271; LMCC 9.05.015; Appleford Hoard 499- 506 The Appleford Hoard was discovered in 1954 and contained 5,752 coins, most from the Constantinian period.
