I bought said raw Peace Dollars through a listing using stock photos instead of an Exact Coin Pictured listing. Wouldn't that technically be sight unseen until you physically have it in your hands?
Has nothing to do with pictures. If you can see it in hand before deciding whether or not to return it, then it is a "sight seen" purchase.
any slabbed coin would do for me. unless it going into a set collection. I'm a cheapo and most of the time its cheaper to buy a slabbed coin then to send in a raw i already have. in my small collection pgcs seems to have fewer over graded coins.
Very fair point as well. I've only got a few raw coins worth sending out at the moment but I've encapsulated, such as this 1883 Liberty Nickel with die cracks on both the obverse and reverse. Just won the 1st 1912-D below as well. The 2nd one I bid at least 7 times already on and I'm still being outbid at 70 bucks, but I'm alright with it for now. I'm just super happy to see raw coins like this still out there.
