DIVAE MARINIANAE / CONSECRATIO Veiled, diademed bust right / Peacock standing facing Sestertius, Rome 253/54 26 mm, 15,57 gr, 12 h RIC 9 corr, C 7
Not FDC, but RR I think Mariniana´s features look much prettier here than on most of her Antoniniani...
WOW, that is a Peacock of a coin! You are right, Mariniana's features are great on your AE. My AR has a little more generous nose... RI Marianiana AR Ant 253-254 CE Crescent - On Peacock flying 21.2mm 3.1g RIC VII 6 Rome

Lovely portrait on that Sestertius. Her Sestertii are typically crude and produced on oddly-shaped flans and don't often come up for sale at auction. I don't own one. I have these two Antoniniani of her: Rome mint, AD 253-257 3.04 gm; 23.5 mm Obv: DIVAE MARINIANAE, veiled and draped bust right on crescent. Rev: CONSECRATIO, peacock standing facing, head left, tail in splendor. Refs: RIC 3; Sear 10067; Cohen 3 Ex Harlan J.
