update 03/22/2025: in my first comment above I stated that I was looking for 2024 nickels, when I found the two above. After searching maybe 20-25 rolls of nickels I had only found 2 circulated, over a period of 3 months or so. Welp, about a week a week ago, I went w/the wife to visit her sister in her nice apartment at her retirement community. As usual, I always stop at the grocery store and buy a bouguet of flowers for my sister inlaw. I spent say XX.76 for the flowers, and when she opened the cashier drawer I noticed bright shiny nickes, and the change she gave me was 4 nickels and 4 pennies. Then I glanced at my change and the nickel showed 2024, so I asked her if she had a roll of nickels and she did so I paid her for those and sure nuff they were all 2024 unc nickels after I split the Loomis paper tube open. yay me! Will be interesting to see if they hold any value in the future or is this just a flash in the pan.

just wondering if even they're worth searching for, but while I do so we find the unexpected, like the 38 and the proof, nothing special just intersting as a hobby and a little fun too.
