I have some older PCGS slabs that show a series number and a coin number. During what years did they do this?

Conder also hasn't updated his listings in the last many years, from what I've seen. I know it would be a bit of work, but it would be really useful if Conder (or someone else) re-uploaded the pictures and updated the slab catalogs (at least for the big 2).

Conder has been working on the second edition of his book for some years now. But I can remember how long it took him to finish the first one - so it may be a while yet :D

As for the threads he has posted in over the years, well that's kind of the problem with threads that are 10 or more years old. Changes in forum software platforms, different methods of posting pictures, picture hosting services changing or going out of business, the picture owner changing hosting services - the number of things that make pics go poof !, well there's a lot of them.

Guess we'll have to wait on that book - again ;)

The pictures were lost when PCGS changed their forum software. I can't update the images because I was banned from that forum many years ago.

    That's a bummer.

Perhaps you could re-create the thread here?
