PCGS HSN First Edition numbered silver eagles

    PCGS has a deal with HSN for 10k exclusive label Premier Edition Silver Eagles.
    Surprised to see these as last years only ANACS and ICG did the numbered editions.

    Contract may have run out for them unless its a yearly process of them shopping the business around and trying to figure out which one will yield the greatest profit.

    I put high value on coins that were mass purchased and sent to grading companies in bulk. I hear the graders really take their time and analyze every detail when there are 10k of the same coin for the same customer to go thru. This is well worth the premium. /s

    In other words, 1.5 years ago he talked to them (and anacs, icg) and went with the other vendor. But this time pcgs went with their deal. LOL

    I think the issue is more about PCGS devaluing their brand by jumping on the manufactured collectible bandwagon.

    Did they though? All they really did was ad numbering to the label. Modern ASEs were never what their brand was actually judged on anyway
