Hard to believe it didn't sell for $935 including shipping :yack:

And where in the heck did they come up with that odd shipping figure?

My figure says $59.03.. Not really sure

Has about $500+ in silver in it so I would expect it could fetch around $900 if someone really wanted it but more reasonably in the $700+/-

It would be funny to VAM them while um "using" it though lol

I swear it was $71.67...and the fly swatter is a nice touch too! :arghh:

Eh, I don't get that. $600 in silver is only worth $600 if you can get it out. To me, this is worth a laugh, at best.

Sure you can get it out. The silver is worth what it's worth. The premium is on what someone wants to pay. Although if he can't get a premium it may go for slightly under spot due to the cost and time of cutting out the silver however these usually sell in the $200 range with pennies nickels dimes and maybe a little silver so people do pay up for them and this thing is chalk full of silver. Most I've seen in one

My guess is it is automatically calculated by Ebay since it is standard not priority shipping.

Melt value is only $12.50 each. Granted dollars are worth a good premium but I can't imagine anyone buying this for more than the dollars in it.

I'm just trying to imagine the caption...toilet seat on the work bench, cutting torch and hacksaw...and the wife says "So, what did you do today honey?"

Generally speaking, I'm not facing towards it when using it at that close a distance, and getting that close while facing the appropriate direction could lead to splash damage.

Either way, it looks like they scrubbed them up all nice and shiny before embedding them.

Haha. And yeah, they typically polish the heck out of them to make them nice and shiny. I've sold a couple (used but clean, don't ask) for around $200+ and those were just "type set" ones with cents, V nickles, quarters and halves. Most clad but a few silvers and a Morgan/Peace or two. Trust me guys. This will sell for more than silver value

It will. Trust me. How much over silver value depends on who's looking and how much over they are trying to get.

It should hammer at a 3-digit number. Maybe not $935, but $300 wouldn't shock me.

With 38 dollars my guess is an easy $500+ in open bidding up to $700ish with a BIN and waiting.
