As many who followed (Shortgapbob's) election thread saw how I rudely hijacked it when trying to find out about one missing ballot. Please accept my apologies and here is an update. Being very fortunate to be partners in a business (with the spousal unit) which is less than 100 ft from our house has it's benefits and setbacks. You can use your imagination to the fullest and still not fully grasp both the pros and cons of such a setup. One benefit is a business phone and the other is the home phone. Yesterday after getting my 2nd call at the office from from Judy (ext 149) there was yet a 3rd phone call I missed because they called my home phone which I'd used on my membership to the ANA. Now, I'm not sure why this phone was used when I'd already left a number where I could be reached at, who knows. But anyway, the message (from ???, a fellow this time) I got well after closing time at the ANA said that they had corrected my membership and that "I should be good to go now" and with a cheery "Good Bye", they hung up. To be honest, I didn't know otherwise. While still not knowing why I didn't get a ballot mailed to me (Yes, Judy said yesterday "one was not mailed" because of my delinquent dues) rest assured everything should be fine now. I wish our customers were as understanding when the unforeseen happens... I haven't decided whether to call again today or not...
