Arrived yesterday: a sestertius I always ogled

    Finally I was able to win it. The wings of the caduceus are worn, but you can see were they were:).

    Rome, 22 -23 AD struck under Tiberius
    35mm, 26.59 g, 6h

    RIC I 42 (Tiberius); Cohen 1; BMC Tiberius 95; CBN Tiberius 72

    Obv.: Crossed cornucopiae, each surmounted by bareheaded busts of the twin sons of Drusus, Germanicus II (right) and Tiberius Gemellus (left), on each cornucopia is attached a bunch of grapes and a winged caduceus in-between.
    Rev.: DRVSVS CAESAR TI AVG F DIVI • AVG • N PONT • TR • POT • II around large S • C.
