I think it's fake. Surfaces, letters and portrait look off to me.

It's possible it could be overcleaned too.

I hope the others are all wet behind the ears, but I kinda agree with 'em. Sorry.

I have no idea if it is fake or not, but I hope for your sake it is real. (Tentative) Congrats!

A poor cast fake, I can see the casting bubbles on the reverse.

Just in case, get it checked out soon, in case you need to return it. I just don't know about this one. Hope for the best for you.

I am afraid I have to pile on with the rest. I do not like this coin. Specifically, I do not like the portrait. I also think the lettering in the obverse legend is not quite right. It is hard to tell from the photo but there does appear to be evidence of casting. In addition, the figure on the reverse does not look right.

    Here is mine for comparison.

I thank all members who have taken the time to express their opinions here and privately.
I have taken my (our) concerns to the seller (who seems to be genuine) and he has offered to cancel the sale and to refund my money (in full).
I have asked him to do this.
My thanks (again) to you all. (Pleasure and Pain.)
