GTG and VAM of this 1878 Morgan. I'm adding two pictures of the same coin, first mine, then the sellers. I struggled to capture the nice golden brown toning that circles both the obverse and reverse but does not extend beyond the edge of the stars. I think my reverse shot does a decent job of it. That seller's picture is almost false advertising. But I love the old gal. She's a bit beat up. MS63 might even be a little generous on her, based on your pictures. But she's a very respectable one. Ah, the VAM, it's just a die crack. VAM or not, I'm really liking her.
I'll agree with the seller's photos being a bit misleading. The in-hand vs sellers photos do seem a little bit off. Edit: but the seller did include the slab's grade and the cert # for verification. No photo was given by the certification company.
Yes, by all means provide your thoughts on the attribution. I only mentioned to two specific people not to spoil it because I know I've told at least one of them the actual grade.
