Trade Dollars - Chopmarks - Friend or foe?

    Regarding traded dollars, chopped marked or not, be careful about counterfeits, as they are frequent.

    Picked up this one back in 1970, yup that was a while ago. Bought it in a coin shop in Hong Kong, well Kowloon actually. As I recall I paid $80 for it.

    A couple chop marks is okay for a piece in VF or so, if you want a piece that has them. I don’t care for them on high grade, Mint State pieces. Too many chop marks is not good either unless it’s low grade.
