Does anyone know if there is a serial number range associated with the dollar note for the Botanic Gardens Coin and Currency Set?

I saw the same thing and thought it was strange. It is the first set I've seen without a Richmond note, and a star note at that. I'm thinking it may be a swap out job.

Initially I thought it might be a swap job, but it didn't make any sense.

Why replace a random Richmond District non-star note for a New York District star note?? Says it's from an estate, so who knows.

  6. Per my discussion with the BEP at the 2011 ANA Show in Chicago, the block of notes provided to the U.S. Mint for inclusion in the Botanic Sets included a number of star replacement notes. Not every note form the block was reviewed so the NY stars that were included in the block were utilized in the sets and not screened out by the Mint.

As for the serial number range, even though only 25,000 Sets were issued, the non-star range of 75,000 runs from approximately #E19885000G to #E19960000G.
