Do you earn bucks for auction format also, or just for fixed price? It seems that offer is good for fixed price listings only?
I tried to use the offer but the seller never responded to my offer. So I retracted the offer after the ebucks offer expired
Happens all the time. Usually I put my offer is only good until midnight and I almost always get a response by then.
You can try to call Ebay customer service and ask, but trust me it is a lengthy process. I did that for two auctions totaling $48 and it took me over 3 hours to get through to someone who could help me and get the Ebay bucks. I was pissed and very rude but eventually I got them. I wrote down the exact information on a piece of paper about how much I hate Ebay CS but can't find it. It was three hours and change with 14 transfers I think.
I put that in there as well as emailed the seller. Guess they don't Have the eBay app on their phone? Missed out on a $180 sale.
Any eligible item regardless of auction or fixed price format. If you are not seeing the Bucks promo in an auction listing, it's most likely because the auction ends after the promo has expired. Wow, I didn't know you could retract the offer or set a time limit. I always shied away from making offers during Bucks promo not knowing you could do these things. Cool. I have seen the 8% or 10% Bucks offer not in effect in checkout before. I've had to exit cart and reenter to make the extra Bucks appear. Not sure why. I think it's a glitch when you shop on their mobile site but who knows.
Yeah if you click on VIEW OFFER DETAILS it'll say you can retract your offer under certain circumstances. I had put in the offer that the offer needed to be accepted before 12am PST, I had already sent the seller a message asking what his bottom price was, and told him I'd send an offer when I got an eBay Bucks offer.... Sadly they never seen it or responded to it.
