No not quite a coin or medal but I paid considerably more then most of my morgans for this puppy. Ahh but this is a special and very hard to come by medalion, for the front grill of a 73 Gran Torino. It was the 1st thing I noticed when I went to look at and buy this car.. No medalion.. Well I've been looking since Sept for a good one (most are damaged/cracked) and still selling for $100+.. Ok very very few out there flawless but I finaly found one i'm happy with and screw the price lol. Ok not quite that bad but well over my expected cost since it's been 30yrs since I bought the last one and it was $75 even then. I will install it in... 51 days hehe

Cool! I have an emblem off the side door panel from my '74 Olds Omega. :jawdrop:

    "Medallion" has two L's. ;)

Neat. I had a friend with a Gran Torino of that vintage. Around the same time, I was driving a '77 Ford LTD (my first car).

I've thought about buying some of the emblems for a vintage Volkswagen Karmann-Ghia, to make a little shadowbox for my Dad, who had several of them.

What's the significance of the "51 days" comment?
