I just finished taking a research survey by "National Analysts Worldwide" for the US Mint, to learn about my U.S coin interests. The survey asked many questions about what I purchased in 2006 form U.S Mint and from other sources. In addition, there were several questions about what coins I plan to purchase in 2007 and 2008. There were several questions about 24K Gold Buffalo's and fractionals for 2007 and 2008. They also wanted to know if they were to change the design of the 24K Gold from Buffalo to some other classical design or seated liberty, would I buy... There were no questions about the quality of Mint Customer Service Department. It was a comprehensive survey and you get a glimpse of the future direction of the product offering.
I took that survey a few months ago... Thought it was very interesting... I did not care for the idea of yearly changes to the 24k coins...
