Ancients collectors' FUN show 2017 Roll Call

I will be there. I don't believe FUN has been in Fort Lauderdale before, but since I've only been attending for about 10 years, I could be mistaken.

Depending on my wife's surgery next month, I may try to attend. I won't know till around the end of December.

What days are people going? Thursday is the best in some ways followed by Friday. A lot of dealers leave at lunch on Sunday.

I will try to make it Thursday and Friday but it depends on my work.

 

I myself am shooting for Thursday and Friday also. Don't want to be picking through leftovers on Saturday and Sunday

 

I'm really hoping to meet as many of you as possible over the three days. If there are uncleaned lots to pick through that's where you will find me on Thursday. The rest of the days just wandering around.

BTW, the ANA spring show is in Orlando next year. Right in my back yard. It's called a "money show" though and I'm not really sure what that means. Anyone know?

 

Honestly I'm not sure. Probably just to imply that it won't just be coins but other forms of money like bills.

 

I may or may not attend. Intentions of going, but I may be in the midst of buying a business...

 

@ValiantKnight, I will be at FUN all day Thursday and Saturday. Are you still trying to get everyone together for lunch or just a quick break? Count me in!

 

I have never been to Winter FUN, but have been able to attend the Summer FUN show on 3 occasions while vacationing in SWF. On those 3 occasion I did not see much in terms of World or Ancients coins. It was primarily U.S coins (and Morgans everywhere).

I understand that Winter FUN is much bigger, with many more dealers in attendance?

Maybe next year I can finally attend the Winter FUN show, as we plan to spend part of the winter at our SWF vacation home (our children permitting!), and I can meet some of your guys.

 

Well, if I can get my driver to agree on venturing all the way to Florida, then "maybe" ... but sadly, she is more of a northern girl, so it's gonna be a pretty hard-sell, my coin-friends (but please, never count me out)

 

Regretfully, I won't be attending FUN. Inked the dotted line(s) this week, so things will be going into Warp-Drive over the next few weeks / months....

5 of my Daughters and their Families (including 6 Grandkids) are within 1 hour drive from me. LOL, yeah, I like that "Chicks & Coins" One-Stop-Shop concept.

LOL, no, the Business will not be in those industries.

 

I am going to be there, most likely Friday. My family and I needed a break from MN winter, so we are going Thursday morning and leaving Monday, staying on the beach in Ft Lauderdale.

 

We're definitely going to have to meet up for a day. Not sure what we'll talk about though. See you Thursday, and Happy New Year!
