... yup, I even decided to up the geek-status by showing the comic video => is that geek enough for ya? (crank it up!!)
There has to be ancient coin with that heavy metal girl and her chicken on it! If there is not, then there should be...
We've been on a bit of a Hozier trip in the house ever since the wife discovered him. "We'll name our children Jackie and Wilson, raise 'em on rhythm and blues..."
Ummm, isn't that the chick from "Vikings"? (she plays Lagertha) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lagertha ... or does the rest of the world even know of Vikings? (it's an Irish-Canadian co-production) I've watched the first 3 season (if you like GOT, then you'll probably love Vikings)
This coin always makes me smile when I hold it. It is such a perfect example, one of the nicest in existence. On a campus of over 25,000 students, I only have two friends. I won't be able to see them for a couple years. Plus I spent New Year's completely alone. So this song portrays my feelings right now pretty well.
I agree ... friends come and go => hopefully 2017 will be a great year for new coins and new friends!! Typecoin => ummm, maybe these will help cheer you up? ... and when you absolutely, positively have to kill everybody in the room ... => Hopefully 2017 will be a great and fun year (for all of us)
This Syracuse tetradrachm has been a favourite of mine for nearly 10 years: For music, it has to be something with Cathal Coughlan - Microdisney, Fatima Mansions or more recent solo works. I'll stick with "Blues for Ceaucescu" as it was the second encore the only time I saw the Mansions, in Cork in '93 - amazing gig, still fondly remembered. Happy 2017, all. Aidan
Celtic Stater of the Ambiani, Northeast Gaul, 2nd Century BC: Dropkick Murphys, "The Boys Are Back" (Official Music Video): Boston Strong!
