    Based on those pics, I would pass. If I were able to see the coin in hand, I might feel differently. I don't think it's cleaned or anything, but the pics simply are not good enough for me to buy based on them.

    There are a lot of hits on the face, and I wouldn't be surprised if this coin has been cleaned. By the time you bid and pay postage it is going to be $30+ for a $25 details coin. Is the gold lighting hiding defects and the look of it being cleaned? Not BU. Au-58 details?

    when in doubt buy a slabbed coin. that way you know nothing is wrong with it. most of the time.
