In its condition how much do you reckon I could get for this coin?

The following website says it's worth $28 in 'Good Condition', I imagine my coin probably grades a lot lower. But I'm not really sure how accurate this website is:

Also how much would a coin dealer pay? I'm guessing they buy at lower prices to make money.

That seems a bit high. Numismedia says $13 in G4.

This coin is more like AG3.

A dealer is unlikely to offer more than silver value for it.

About $7.99, I would think. At least that's what it sold for on eBay on Christmas Day... You might squeeze another couple dollars out of it, but after fees, you'll net, what, an extra dollar or two at most for your effort. The coin isn't at all close to G (it's an AG with PVC issues), so I wouldn't try to sell it for G price.

A coin dealer/coin shop would likely offer you melt or slightly below melt. A pawn shop, it's anybody's guess.

Just my two cents' worth, FWIW.

Yes, Numismedia can be quite handy. It too runs a bit high sometimes (remember, those are retail prices), but it's a nice convenient reference.

The silver value calculators at coinflation.com are handy, too.

Of course. Happy to help. At least it's not a loss, really. I think you could always get your money back. Another good place to check out is PCGS Photograde Online. We've all been there - getting excited about new stuff, new coins!

I'd say that's in the right ballpark.

    I don't even think this is a G-4. I think it's less.
But as a hole filler I think someone would pay $10.
