How to store paper money

    I've never really collected paper money but I'm thinking about it.
    Are there any good guidelines on how to store paper currency?
    For instance keep humidity below a certain level (like coins).
    store flat? or in plastic holders (any certain kinds to avoid or use).
    or anything else that I have no idea about collecting paper currency?

    Paper needs some humidity for proper storage, but not too much. I've heard a steady environment of 68-75 F and 45-55% humidity is best. Coincidentally, this happens to be a range of conditions where humans are relatively comfortable as well. :)
