My release of something that the hobby has needed for a very long time. I'm aiming for mid-May.

Yeah, 2017 will be a great year. Out on parole, buying Chinese copies, oops, just kidding. I hope to expand my Liberty Head small cent acumulation. I'm 65 and these cents have always been my weakness. Happy New year coin buddies!

The purchase of my dream metal detector. To go to new spots and search for silver and hopefully gold coins!
Oh and it's the Minelab CTX 3030 :greedy:

In all seriousness, I'd like to put together a small team of experienced metal detectors and actually go looking on my family's old property in Kentucky to search for one of my great great xxx Uncles gold coin stash he had buried. My grandfather and his Aunt dug up one of the gold jars on the property in 1937 while planting seeds on the farm. According to the family documents, he had quite a bit buried, but no one knows where. My grandfather's find was the only discovery made. I plan on talking to him about in detail soon as he is 90 years old. So I would love to plan and put on an expedition. I need people who are serious though. Also maybe someone to help plan it. Who knows.
