Actually if you go into a bank and ask for "fresh packs" you can pick up 100 consecutive at times if they just got a shipment in.
Two Dollar notes , if available, is one they will gladly give you to get rid of them. Banks don't have a lot of respect for them but I like them for the reverse design.

My longest run was 1100 1995 I-G block singles. Actually paid a premium as roughly every fourth note was a "295 error" (wrong font size on the back plate number). Sold enough to cover the premium and then some. Still have hundreds left.

Depending on your funds and your bank you can find lots of sequentials. Word of warning though it can become addictive and expensive REAL fast.

I get 2-3 in a row in change all the time. They are usually fresh crisp bills out of the pack. Usually you are the first to ever get them.

I don't keep them. I just spend them

I have been going through a collection and I ran across 6 new $50 bills all in order.
They are different looking compared to a normal %0 note. There is a little star * behind the numbers.

That is a sweet find. Don't break them up.

That is a sweet run there. Could you get the series (year) and a complete serial number (including the letters) on one of those. I could give you an idea as to value.
    Hint, it's more than $300.

just click the star note lookup in my signature line, and look those up! hopefully there from a small run size. if its yellow, its rare.

Any significance?? The date says 2004 and has a small size FW on it too.

Current retail showing up at $150 EACH. Not in total agreement with that though as there were 3.2 million printed. This is in CU (Crisp uncirculated) condition.

If leget CU notes I would expect a trustworthy dealer to give AT LEAST $75 each.

P.S. What kind of holder are they in. Can mean a lot over time.

Well I have been readingsome books and Paper Money Mags...
It seems one of the $50 notes I have is what they call a "radar note".
I thought that was pretty nice and that the other 5 follow it.
Thanks for all the replys and concern.

These 6 $50 notes are in a paper envelope for a holder. Should I put them into something else?

Most definitely. Envelopes are NOT good holders.

If you have any coin shops in your area they might have non-reactive currency holders. If not you can get them online or go to ebay. They sell them there too.
