Is this a plate position or what? How can I tell when the bill was printed? Serial# is T76212684A. This is my 1st purchase of US currency as I'm just starting. Are there sources where I could have found this? Thanks

    Yes. Should be lower right.

Fr.236 Black Eagle with Speelman/White signatures were being printed and distributed 1922 through 1927.

Way to go Browns....1st win of the season.

Near the end of the catalog, mules are described and defined

As for mules, it is my experience that they have to be graded and attributed as such to collect a nice premium. Sold 2 of them a few weeks ago to a sophisticated paper buyer. Greensheet does not differentiate, but he certainly did.

How does "as for mules" apply to my note? I don't see a # on the back.

dont have my Friedberg handy, but there is definitely a plate number back there. It's tiny. You'll find it.

I did find it on the third look. It's 2706 in the lower right of the white field. So, this confirms it's a mule. What else can I learn from this regarding what this means. Thanks for your help!

Not a mule. That is proper location. If a mule, plate # would be in same white field, but tucked away On bottom left.
