I’m in the process of evaluating a large estate collection that happens to feature 50+ colonial and continental notes. I’ve been successful in identifying and appraising most of them, however, several are of very good quality so I would appreciate input on grade and value if possible. I am a novice when it comes to grading paper, especially the 250 year old sort!
    These are beautiful notes. Enjoy!

I have several of these myself, Mark. I picked them up because they were dated 1776. Now mine are not in this good of condition and I think I gave thirty bucks a note for them.

The Early Paper Money of America by Eric P Newman would be an excellent source for you. I wish I could help you more but grading paper is a talent I do not have. There are two companies that have a lot of Colonial paper money for sale and you might find notes there to compare. Check out Sarasota Numismatics and Coast to Coast Coins and Currency.

These are beautiful. I'm not anywhere close to being qualified to grade them, except that they look Crisp Uncirculated to me. I have a few, but they are mostly Good to Fine in my amateur grading.

Reminds me allot of fractional currency and by the out of wack boarders that are present as far as value I couldn't really comment on that however having extensive
back round in grading ranging from good maybe on your best example a low fine
missing pieces, uneven boarders but heck these are really old so what can we expect...LOL
