I haven't opened my gift yet, lots of family around here today, but I want to share this with the rest of you. This is my 75 year old FIL who has dementia.

 

Father in law? That fellow is just fine.........such a most marvelous loving family.

 

Lol we have had a blast. Yes Father in law and grandkids.

Came home this evening from a pretty emotional last 24hrs in the hospital. Decided to open my SS gift and it really lifted my spirits.
Inside was a really funny letter and a gift that had me fooled until I opened it.

Thanks Santa for the cool lowball commemoratives. I Didn't have these in my set yet so they fit perfectly.

Yes, you received an amazing gift earlier this year. All of your Christmas's from this point forward will be even more special. Especially when Santa starts to visit the little ones. He really know's how to lift their spirits as well as yours. It's all priceless from here on out.

The choice in the coins you picked were spot on.
I need to image two other of the coins ,but the" nickel" needs to be seen now. I must admit also , I most probably would never think of even looking at these coins. More less purchase them.... but can't wait to image them. The eagle's on them are unreal . Thank you Santa...... you made my day!

One other note to the Santa's some you truly did you home work There's a coin I posted in world coins. Another member really liked it.... and received one from his Secret Santa!
A lot of thought and effort was made a gift in itself.
