Fun thing is that the dealer thought they were worthless because they were "stained" and "tarnished." He fully didn't expect me to buy them.
I'll give you $60 and pay for shipping if you want to make a quick few bucks for some college style ramen noodles
Next time offer him $40.00 to unburden him with all of his "Tarnished and Stained" silver. Tell him normally you wouldn't do better than $35.00 but because you like him, you'll do him a solid and go an extra $5.00.
Here are my latest. I just picked them up from my favorite B&M. 1923 Peace Dollar VAM-1V it looks like it might grade at MS-60 or 61. It's had a tough life, but I rescued her for $21.00. And finally, I've really started to develop an interest in Washington Quarters. Got this 1948-S with the subtle color on obverse and reverse for $10.00.
22 bucks. Stocking stuffer for my daughter who had her first trip to Yellowstone this year and wondered if the park was on a coin.
Here's a $6 purchase from coinzip.com seller Mike Dixon how can you beat the price on a toned proof 58 years old?
There's more than this one that features Yellowstone National Park .The 1999 commemorative 2 coin set.
I'll take a roll of those at that price! (Well, at least one anyway...) I posted this in another thread, but this was only 12.99.
This one was slightly less than $50. More specifically, $49 less. That's right, I got it for face value. There is a convenience store I go to often and I got to know the guy who ran it. I asked him to put away "big coins" like halves and a few times he surprised me with a half. I got an Ike once and a 1968 half dollar once. I went in the store one night and asked if they had any "big coins". The cashier said "yes" and pulled this out of the drawer. At first I thought it was an Ike but I was shocked to see that it was an 1884-O Morgan. I gave the cashier a dollar and left before they changed their minds. The night I got it, I was offered $50 for it.
Picked this little beauty up for $39.00 shipped I wasnt sure if I was reading the listing correctly, but I took a chance on it being so......... http://www.ebay.com/itm/1963-D-5-Co...Bc%2BnJeDcam70mqyCXfI%3D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc 5 coins for 1 money!
