My New 1875-S 20¢ Piece

Just received my NEW 1875-S 20¢ piece.
It wasn't intended to be an upgrade but it is (AU-55 to AU-58).
It was intended to replace my darkly toned coin with one that looks more like silver.
I don't care for coins that are too dark.

Very nice! A 20-cent piece is on my 2017 collecting goals list. You have a killer.

The clash over the eagle head under the second " s " in states on the old specimen..... ? Looks like the cap.

 

Love double dimes. I actually like the dark one more, but I liked dark toned coins.

Great example of why AU58 is one of the best collecting grades.

 

I have a bias for dark toned coins, but whatever floats your boat. The new coin is still amazing.
