Once again, I'm always impressed with you folks that take sweet coin-photos!!

Here is a great example of one of my coins (with a sweet seller's photo)

    carthage.jpg

=> and here are a few fairly poor coin photos of an awesome coin ...

Oh, but although the photos suck a bit => the coin is fricken "amazing"!!

Yup, this is my 2016 Xmas winner!! (my Santa rocks, big-time, eh?)

NOTE: I will also eventually add these horrible photos into the Secret Santa thread ... again, the coin deserves a far better photographer!!

    cheers

Indeed a beautifull horsehead coin, Steve
thanks for posting all these Carthegian-Sicily- Sardinian coins, CT gang.
Doug's question about telling 'm apart , I have no answer , sellers claim their coins are from Sardinia and wildwinds and coinarchives agree.
probably has something to do with the dots, palmtrees, phoenician letters or the absence of these marks.Or its just wishfull thinking. For further info ask Alegandron :)

VERY nice Punic Tet! Lots of detail, great eyes... and the Palm Tree looks like a shaved tail with bells for the horse!

I have a Shekel from Carthage, but with a full horse:

Thank you. My Marsics and Roman Didrachmae were hefty too. With 300 coins captured this year, it all was hefty costs. Curious how much I capture this year as I spin up a new Business...
