I got this coin? in march on 2014 and still no clue one where it's from or what it is. I did find similar (not by much) coins of Brazil and Portugal, as well as some Knights Templar buttons. Any thoughts? IN HOC SIGNO VINCES around cross/ CONSTANTI dot IMP dot around crown ae 22 Thanks for any help
I'm absolutely clueless on this one. Hopefully the 'medievalists' among us can shed some light on it.
It's probably some sort of early Freemason token referring to Constantine when he spoke those words prior to his Milvian Bridge battle and ultimately accepted Christianity (hence the cross).
I did a Google search and found this: Somewhere in here http://media.stacksbowers.com/VirtualCatalogs/2009/Stacks/2009_08CoinGalleriesNEW_LR.pdf ...is a medal/token/coin with similar features.
