Yep, those medals - there are several, with different dates, figures and designs - illustrate the "galloping" inflation in those days. In German the term Hungermedaille is pretty common among collectors when it comes to them, mostly because of the depicted mother and child scene. Christian

Thanks Stork, yes it does , but not much to go on. It's a really thin medal, I have not seen one made this thin.
