The top piece has to be this one, one the MCMVII High Relief $20 gold. It's the world's most expensive fairly common coin. It's also one of the most beautiful coins. The second would be this one, the 2009 Ultra High Releif "mint creation." Collectors were disappointed with this piece because it was the diameter of a $10 gold piece, not the size of the original coin. After I saw the original example of this at the Smithsonian Institute, I had a greater appreciation of the piece. It is a copy of the 20 experimental strikes which were done on a planchet with the diameter of a $10 gold with double the thickness. None of the 1907 pieces were made available to the public. All were melted, except the two in the Smithsonian. I have a better one which is in a MS-70 holder. This one has die polish marks which prompted me to sell it. Third would be this 1907 low relief double eagle which competes the circle with the first piece.
