I just put this coin under a microscope and it looks to me to be a double-struck 7 Large Cent Victoria 1897. I have never seen one before and Coins and Canada has no information on it regarding sales, value or extra information. Can anyone please give me any information on this coin. I would very much appreciate it. Thank you!
The coinsandcanada "double 7" listing is here. It's not in my Charlton however. Maybe someone in the World forum knows if there's any extra value. https://www.coinsandcanada.com/coin...nt-1897&years=1-cent-1876-1901#canadiancoin-2
I realize it is in Coin's and Canada, however, Coins and Canada while listing it, does not provide any historical data or information on the coin, which I found odd and which is why I am seeking information anywhere I can get it. Hope fully someone will come up with something. A past sale...anything at all. I guess the question is why list the coin if there is no data or information on the coin. It's puzzling.
