I got these 2 Franklins the end of Dec. Used Ebay 8% code to add to my total eBay Bucks for the period ending Dec. 31st.

About 12 years ago, I purchased a sealed box of eighty (80) 1962 mint sets from the Mint. I keep telling myself that they're worth more sealed...but I'm dying to know what's inside!

I collect proof sets and I've been buying unopened sets from late 50's to mid 60's. I don't know if I should leave them unopened or see if there are any nice cameos in there

Images by Bob Campbell, and I think he did an excellent job.

Thank you for all the likes of my Franklins!

It's raw. I go back and forth in my mind as to whether it is NT or AT. The area from about 3 to 4 o'clock on the obverse looks like it might be a liquid residue. On the other hand, the rest of the toning pattern on the obverse and on the reverse, as well as the toning colors, are spot on for a Mint Set 1948-D toner. What do you think it is, AT or NT? In any case, I like it.
