I happen to know that went down on another coin site, and did not involve your CoinTalk Secret Santa. ;)

Well, yes, I was speaking in general. I didn't participate in the actual CT Secret Santa.

Let me rephrase that: I won a small cob with a 1943 provenance, and it happened to be on Christmas Day.

My secret Santa haul was a very nice one. A completely random assortment of US and world coins including some nice silver. I think my favorite piece is the bimetallic piece from Uruguay though it is the least valuable of the lot. It just a super cool piece. I’m also happy that my outbound SS package finally arrived at the eleventh hour (according to the USPS tracking) after inexplicably spending 5 days just sitting stagnant at a distribution facility. Merry Christmas All!

Many thanks to my Secret Santa, "J", who gifted me these two pieces. I have to admit that I didn't know that there was a silver Krugerrand. It's quite attractive. The memorial medal to Franklin Roosevlt is neat, given my interests in policial history.

Many thanks to my Secret Santa, who must have done some reading of past posts and noticed that my Morgan collection centers on 81-S examples now. I was gifted this nice MS-62 Morgan in an NGC holder. Thanks, Santa :)

It's been a kick being the coordinator for this year for Secret Santa, and it is nearly time to get a new addition to this (for all who thought Christmas was over!!!) and to start the New Year right!

I see that, so far, 19 of the 22 participants have posted the images of their gifts, and that is spectacular! Very cool items I've seen for you all, and looking forward to seeing the last few.

Anyhow, I have started listing the post numbers for each recipient here and in a few days, I will do a random coin drawing (hence this image, above, it's a random coin drawing) for a special gift I will send out to the 'winner' (hint: probably will be some world coins).

Normally I could do the random coin drawing on a computer, but since the numbers are not all in sequence, I think I will just put them on slips of paper and then draw the winner from a hat or something. And for the one person so far that used two posts to show his gifts, I am going to use the second post number. Let's keep it even with all.

Mea culpa...I took my gift to my daughter's house and opened it there...my son-in-law was looking at it and I apparently left it there. I'll get it and post a picture. A Canadian Maple leaf! Thank you SS

Rummaging through some of my stuff, I ran across something interesting...a book of photographs of Fidel Castro taken by his son...AND SIGNED!

My SS is very generous. I know it's a secret, hints the word, but I would love to be able to thank a specific person for these gifts and if that isn't a possibility then whoever sent this should know that me and Justin are in ahh and appreciate your generosity greatly! Happy Holidays to you and yours.
