I'd like in on this one for my grandson, again.

I was thinking about this amazing giveaway @Randy Abercrombie and @lordmarcovan coordinated. It brought back such fond memories from my yoot. Like everyone else, when growing up, Thanksgiving Day always started the holiday season. The appearance of Santa Claus at the end of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade signified the start of the Christmas season. After the parade we'd watch The March of the Wooden Soldiers. Then throughout the next month leading up to Xmas we'd watch Charlie Brown's Christmas, A Christmas Carol, Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer, White Christmas, It's A Wonderful Life, Frosty the Snowman, Miracle on 34th St., Dr Seuss's The Grinch Who Stole Christmas, Babes in Toyland, and many others I've forgotten to list.

That said, this contest was a reminder of the continued joy each of these 'sub contests' represent and brought to me and others here. Just like the happiness we got from each movie listed above.

Thank you Rob and Randy. You're two special guys. May you both, and everyone else here, have a joyful, merry, safe Christmas. And a Happy New Year!

We went grocery shopping today to get everything needed for our Christmas meal. The couple of places we went to were nuts with people. I don’t have an issue with it because I like to people watch but Catherine can’t stand the crowds. We made it out safely and can lay low for the next few days.
