The reverse of the following bronze coin shows 3 thin trees reminiscent of the Christmas pine tree. I bought it because it's the first time I encounter such an image design.Of course they might not be trees. The obverse also figures a portrait quite strange to me. I can't determine whether there's a king or a queen there. The coin weighs exactly 6 g.
Hi, 7Charles ... I think it's pretty cool ... but sadly, I don't recognize it ... I like your festive Christmas tree guess, but I'm not 100% sold on that one Ummm, maybe a trident, but that doesn't sound like a real winner either? Hey, cool coin and good luck getting a correct coin-ID Cheers
Doing a Google search for the only part of the legend I can read with certainty, "VTONO" yields this: And I think, based on this, the legend on your coin reads in part "AIAVNTONOM". There is a similar coin somewhere in Hunter vol 3 and you may want to download the PDF file of the book from the online source and look through it. Good luck!
