    Hey everyone,

I recently picked up this lot of Chinese cash coins that were found in Thailand by metal detectors. Normally, I stick to buying other types of finds, but this time I decided to take a blindfolded hip shot and snag these before anyone else could. My buddy initially wanted $22.50 for the lot, but I managed to negotiate it down to $19 because, well, I’m frugal as heck.

From what I can tell, I’m assuming they’re all real and likely date between the 15th and 19th centuries, possibly from the Ayutthaya area. I’d love to hear your thoughts—are my assumptions correct? Does anyone recognize specific dynasties or periods based on the designs? I’ve attached a photo for reference.

Looking forward to hearing what the experts here think! Thanks in advance for any insights.

I think I see at several Vietnamese in there:
    明命 (1820-1841)
I also see some Qing Dynasty Chinese.

Thank you so much. Now I know what to look for, and I spot several in the lot. I haven't received these yet. Should only be a couple of days. When I receive them I'll repost better photos.

I agree with @The Eidolon , I can see a mix of Chinese Qing dynasty and Annamese (Vietnamese) cash. Can't say much more without clear photos of both sides, but at $19 for the lot it sounds like you got a pretty good deal.
