Last call for Round 10, if any of you night owls in the US- or overseas folk elsewhere- have not yet posted your entry in this round.

After I catch up on my chores here at work, I’ll do the drawing.

Okay LordM. Wait, Wait! I forgot to enter.
Entering for @Rushmore this time. :)

There's 4 days left until Christmas, and we've got two rounds left to do after this one. So...

TIME FOR THE ROUND 10 DRAWING!

    Our lucky number was... 397!

    upload_2024-12-21_4-20-36.png

And Post #397 was by... @mrbadexample!

Which means he just won two consecutive rounds! :woot:

Lucky duck! That's just how the random number generator works, sometimes.

Coingratulations, @mrbadexample! In addition to Lot #9 in the previous round (which Randy just shipped), you have now won Lot #10, from me! So you'll have a package coming across the pond from Randy and I both!

You're on a lucky streak, my man! I hereby make a wish that it will continue well into 2025.

I don't need your address since I've got that in the Round 9 messages we sent. It will likely be Monday or Tuesday before I can make the long trek to my local post office to ship your goodies, since I can't mail an international package with stamps from my rural mailbox. But it'll go out soon.

@mrbadexample - Please be sure to post to this thread after you have received your prize. We will all be interested to know what your "mystery" prizes were, as well!

About that: I presealed the "mystery" portions of my lots last month, so I've largely forgotten what's in there, but I do happen to know that you will find a few coins in there which are no doubt as common as dirt in your homeland. Oh well- that can't be helped now. Might give you a chuckle when you see 'em, though. I do think there's at least one small piece of silver in there as well as another modest bauble or two.

    Round summary in Post #1.

Looks like @mrbadexample made a good example of how to do it right! :jawdrop:

And now, a brief intermission before we go into Round 11.

Time for the "comic relief" portion of the program.

You will recall Bean, my Snowshoe Siamese cat, who is one of our "spokescritters" in the introductory post.

    Here's some Bean-related content.

Yesterday afternoon, he made himself a comfy nest in all the leaves my father-in-law had raked up in front of the house. :cat:

Unfortunately, the serenity of that scene was shattered when his wrasslin’ buddy Grace the Dachshund spied him napping there, and got ideas of her own. :hilarious:

(The original 17-second video clip from which I made that GIF included audio of an epic growl-up. LOL)

Bean is a mellow fellow and a good sport. He could give Grace a claw sammich right to the snout if he wanted to (the other cats certainly would). But he doesn’t. He usually just lies there and takes it, or halfheartedly tussles right back. When the harassment gets to be a bit too much (Grace does play pretty rough), he’ll eventually flee indoors or jump the fence.

There will also be some additional "mystery prize" items.

To enter this round, all you need to do is:

    1. Say that you want this lot, and
    2. post something else coin-related or cheerful.

Then, sometime in the next day or two (depending on my schedule), we'll do the drawing and move on to the next and final round.

You may of course say you want it for someone else, if you name that person.

    Round summary in Post #1.

    No way! :wideyed:

    I'm delighted, thank you.

Despite really liking the Morgan I said I'd enter for someone else this round, and as I feel like I've robbed @Rushmore this one's for them.

OH OH OH ( HO HO HO BACKWARDS) I want this one. Big silver always has a place in my hoard. Wishing one and all a very Merry Christmas and a Healthy Happy New Year. And a huge thanks to Randy and Rob for the contest and prizes.

I want it. One reason. I have only 2 Morgan's left in my little collection. :(

As you saw in the intermission above, I've already got the right kind of dog. :)

Count us in for round 11. We want it.
It will fit in nicely with our 1899 Morgan which has some nice toning on the reverse. 2024-12-21-08-08-35-502.png 2024-12-21-08-11-06-505.png

I tried to actually decorate Lucky for his picture and got the "don't you dare stare" from him so we just went with a sticker picture. 20241221_082758.jpg

Please count me in for this round for that lovely Morgan. So lovely that I'll assume this love token, with EC carved into the reverse, must mean that "Every Collection" should have at least one Morgan. Or maybe it means "Every Christmas" and I should rub it like Aladdin's lamp every Christmas for good luck? ;)

I'd like to enter this round - Morgans are my friend :)
For my coin-related picture, I'm posting one of my favorite pick ups from my LCS a couple years ago. I love these old slabs from the 80s.
    Thanks!
    Mike
