OK, this is probably going to sound really stupid...but I have to ask. Does anyone here know how to get the OGC air tite type holders out of the packaging that the 50th anniversary Kennedy Silver set comes in? I have been trying to remove them so I can photograph the coins and I am finding them really hard to remove. I'd rather not destroy the OGP. Is there a trick to it...or is something wrong with me?

Usually they put that piece of ribbon under the coin. Not on these. I don't remember if I took mine out. I have a graded set also. Good luck.

Really small screwdriver and just gently pry it out.

In a couple of recent purchases I had to pull the plastic thing out and push the coin up from behind to get it out of the recessed area. I don't have the Kennedy set though, but I think it was with the 30th ASE and WLH I had the same problem with.

That's been my go to method for things that stick

My Kennedy set is also VERY tight-fitting.

I use a thin knife like thingy I got with a watch repair set. They are very tight.

I've used a precision screwdriver like the ones for eyeglasses before. In fact, I keep one in the case with my digital caliper, and take it with me to shows (along with my milligram scale) just so I'm always prepared.
