Could someone tell me if this nickel is considered FS?

I would say no. The steps on the bottom are blended together on the left side.

 

Unfortunate gouge in steps says no. FYI, FS Jeffs are not hard to come by from the mid 90's on, most mint sets would have them.

 

True. Things start to get hairy in 1998. Not exactly mid-90s, but they are relatively scarce in GEM+ grades for FS (especially the Denvers).

 

Do you collect coins? Did you or will you do an introduction?
