Hello everyone! It's Thursday again and if you are ask @Collecting Nut, there's 6 more days until Christmas! :D
If you ask me, it's a new day and a new thread called, " Thrifty Thursday"!. Just please post any Coin, Token or Medal on a budget of say $50 lousy dollars. Why? You have maxed out your credit cards and spent all but 50 dollars of your hard-earned cash on hand. You can't find your ATM card- Balance negative, and you are tired of shopping for Xmas. You need a Beer or Wine about now. :joyful::playful:
The ultimate question: What coin or coins will you spend it on? Your "better half" has given permission to buy. So, what are you waiting for? Go buy!!
For me? It would be an 1892 Barber Quarter in VF condition.

A Vietnam club token I got last week for $18 shipped. Phu Bai Manor is attributed to the 212th Aviation Battlion. Same both sides.

This was $19 so I still have money for pizza and Birch beer. 1933 SCD.png

I guess I always go for a book instead when I'm at that point. James

I will purchase any Barber dime transition variety I run into for under $50. This 1901-O Obverse I (1892-1900 obverse, previously unknown to exist in 1901) was less than $20. It's also an undocumented 1/1 RPD.

a favorite catagory of mine so you get the coin that started it all and a link to to present results (that is in serious need of an update lol)
This was purchased back in 2008 and even then I stole it for $27... that in turn lead to the 1st $20 large cent set lost to the great selloff in 2014 and now the 2nd attempt the 2020 $20 LC set.. side note the "$29.99" price limit was increased to 49.99 but still very slow filling in the remaining dates/varities :D
