Yes there are 2 Thick and thin. Mine is thin. Plus it's a nice hole filler.
I did see a 2009-W that was going cheap but it was FUGLY.

Was it the slab that made this tone. If it was I cracked this one out because the previous owner destroyed the reverse side. I will definitely try the pics though.
    sounds fun.

You know, when I look at Liberty, I don't see a person. Liberty is not a person, she is an ideal of the guiding principles of the foundation of a nation. She's gold on a gold coin, silver on a silver coin, and copper on a copper coin.

I hope we don't turn her into a person and all the fussing that inevitably will go along with it. She represents ALL Americans.

Agreed in the ideals but they purposely turned her into an African American lady liberty for PC culture reasons. She has corn rows for crying out loud. And I'm not racist in the least so I hope this doesn't come off that way. It's just so obviously PC and that's what I don't like along with it being an unattractive overall design but that part has become par for the course nowadays with US mint offerings

I went back and looked again. That characiture is demeaning and insulting.

Putting myself in somebody else's shoes -- or doing the best I can to do so -- it comes off that way to me. I'm sure others will disagree.

Unflattering, to say the least. Maybe another contest to see other choices ? I definitely hope this one's not set in stone.

It seems that those who have the "say "what will and won't fly as new coins all could use some education in design .
I could rattle off so many modern coins that have been a let down.
Even when they go retro and copy timeless U.S. type coins they somehow manage to screw them up!
Why would you expect anything different here?
I was very disappointed in the Mark Twain piece. I sure some of you loved it..... the obv. Was the bomb....the rev. Didn't do a thing for me!
Thus I passed.....having grown up reading his works I sure would of appreciated having a coin with his image....but not the one that was minted.
what's even more bizarre is that they post all the Artist proofs and you sit there "wow" that one is neat......and then they pick the one that's ugly!

This. I see no need for a new Liberty. We already have a Liberty.

I hope the photo uploads correctly. This is a project I am working on with my daughter she has picked all the quarters herself. she is 4 1/2. When she does her chores, every couple of weeks she will take out money she saved and have me take her to the coin shop to `pick out another cool park quarter." These are the silver versions. 20161216_132200.jpg 20161216_132251.jpg
