Yes, I'm still here, but with subsiding strength, I can't do much. Last Wednesday, I was taken to town for more tests and managed to pick up my mail. To my surprise, I was happy to see a letter from QuarterMaster. After a day in town, I didn't have the strength to open my mail until a couple of days later, so when I did, I was very pleasantly surprised to not only find a Mississippi quarter stamped "MRS. ZIPPI" (LOL), but also a crisp, new $50 note! What a nice surprise and I consider it my Christmas gift from the still unknown, generous, sender. I would post photos, but that takes more energy than I can muster, so forgive me. I hope someone else will get the same letter and can post it. Thank you so much QuarterMaster. It has lifted my spirits.

I appreciate your update! I was thinking about you yesterday when I looked at the pocket piece you sent me several years ago. Life can be such a journey with everyone's being so unique. We need to relish every day and all of the friendships we've made; especially in our later years. I hope that you and your family have a very special Christmas and Happy New Year!!
