4 of these arrived today and I saw something interesting.
Perhaps machine doubling or maybe slight movement during a second strike as I don't know for sure since these die's, from what I understand, are machined individually.

Granted, I've seen some weird machine doubling and, truth be told, the SAE isn't immune to machine doubling but, I just wanted to share since these will, without a doubt, show up on eBay as DDO's.

    Thoughts?

Coin #3 The anomaly is less apparent on this and the last coins.

Looks interesting; let's see what others chime in with.

Why wait for them to show up when you can set the market for them now ;)

Haven't had a chance to look at mine yet. I'll let you know if something interesting appears on mine (but that don't usually happen, at least with me). :)

Hard to tell from the pictures, are you sure it is machine doubling? Silver eagles are not immune to doubled dies...

I also have a 2007 W which seems to have doubling on it, however I found none like it when I researched. Then it went into the 'look at again later' box.....along with a couple of hundred other coins.

Perhaps take pictures from different angles?

has some MD also. 16W ASE.jpg

I'd send them back if you think there's a problem with them.

When you guys get down to the electrons, let me know. I never saw a doubled coin electron.

I never called it a "discovery" and do not intend on pursuing it any further than simply sharing what I saw which I clearly stated was unusual for machine doubling or perhaps remnants from movement during a second strike.
Simple sharing. Nothing more and nothing less.
