Yah, this is my second conquest from today's sweet auction ...

Hmmm, sure I admit that I may have got caught-up in a wee bit of auction-trigger-finger?!!

=> but after I've stretched and got over the hammer-price, I'm super pumped about this second addition ... it's a very neat coin

Oh sorry ... it's not only gorgeous in appearance, but it's also my first "holed" coin ... "and" it was holed in antiquity, which made me a bit coin-horny and therefore the reason that I chased and scored this baby!!

    super cool

One of the prettiest 'holed' coins I've seen. Nice highlights!

I had one coin from the auction 'yelling' at me as well, but forgot to bid! I wish there was a snipe program for CNG. :banghead:

To quote our dear leader: That coin is definitely a 7. She used to be a 10 , but then she got herself pierced. Believe me! Fantastic!

My coin budget has been running on empty for awhile now, so I didn't participate in the auction, but I did scan the catalog and see your name on this one. Congrats! I think I like it even better than the Hadrian win. The Apis bull is simply very cool.

=> I'm assuming that there is merely old ancient crud-mud filling the holes? ... oww, but maybe I got a free bonus-nail with today's score?!

Another one that I was tempted on bidding ;). So you want a bull, you got one:

Mysia, Parium: Commodus (177-192 CE) Æ Unit (RPC IV 3164; SNG BN 1484)

Obv: IMP CAIMV COMODVS; Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right
Rev: DEO AESC SVB; Asclepius seated right, examining hoof of a bull standing left; • CG • I • H • P • in exergue
