I would like to have a Maine Coon. Just like the white one that pops up if you search the title. It's beautiful.

 

I just looked at my tracking number for my SS gift and Tuesday 17th is when it should arrive.

We had some cat drama last Saturday. 20 pound cat didn’t come out for breakfast so clearly something was wrong. Blocked kidney and penis so emergency surgery and a night at the emergency vet for observation and care. $3000 later, we got him back and now he’s on prescription food.

 

Darnit that sucks. Hope he recovers.

we'll just say that he never had a problem with other cats. They are just over grown lovers. Dogs, don't get in the middle of it. They definitely can hold their own.

 

Maine Coons are one of my favorite breeds. They are kind and gentle souls.

Today I did something different. I made Cake Pops.


Not bad for a first try. Also, I gave them all away. So made a some others pretty happy on this.

 

Not currently but I have in the past. My mom had a couple that were just perfect.

 

Saturnalia arrives a week or so before Christmas. I already opened up my Secret Saturnalia and crafted the thank-you post today, being all ready for when it goes live.

I get clobbered with bills during December, so I ended up just sticking with the Saturnalia one. I certainly can't complain, as I received 4 very respectable coins, a most generous bounty.

 

Boy!!! Only 9 days left....
Is Everyone behaving and staying away from their presents this year? Surprised no one has opened their S.S this year.

 

Does everyone who enters actually participate? I sent my SS gift off but I've yet to receive one...just curious

 

Some folks get theirs out later than others. I have received mine on Christmas eve in the past.

 

There is no set time for a SS to send the gift, only so it should arrive on or by 12/24. It's up to each SS to determine if they want to send theirs early or wait. Some wait because they want to go to a show or get a gift from somewhere that is not early enough to send out. So don't worry. This year it seems like most sent early but that is not always the case.

 

I got a package in the mail today from someone I don't recognize. Hmmm. Could it be from my Secret Santa? I guess I will have to wait until Christmas to find out.
